AM1427 Amati Sciabecco (Xebec)

This famous vessel with lateen sails derived from the Xebec used by the Barbary pirates. Armed with 14 cannons and 6 swivel guns for action at close range, the Xebec was also used for coastal defence by Spanish Navy against Algerian pirates. Oars made traveling possible even in case of lull.

Wooden model ship kit features wood and metal fittings; wooden pre-cut keel and frames; pre-printed flags; sail cloth; rigging rope; wooden dowels for masts and spars; 4 sheets of construction plans and a full-color, 32 page, photo-filled instruction booklet. Dispaly board and pedestals are not included.
