Mount Fleeet River Queen Launch

The kit is a good subject for the first time or novice builder, whilst retaining a lot of scope for the more experienced modeller. A very complete kit to make the model as shown, with the exception of paints and adhesives. Built by Lobnitz & Co. Ltd, Renfrew, Scotland with the yard No. 478. Launched in 1895, originally named Clive, she disappeared from mercantile navy lists after 1935. A typical river tug of her time, she had a compound engine and coal fired boiler. Used mainly for light towing, soundings and the transportation of people. She had only limited accommodation aft, and a forward saloon fitted with bench seats, lockers, fold down wash basin and earth closet.
