Chesapeak Bay Flattie (Corel, 1:25)

Description

Corel Flattie wooden model ship kit is an accurate reproduction of a typical American sailing work boat. The term ‘Flattie’ was used locally for a type of boat used in the Chesapeake Bay. It’s use peaked between 1880-1890, being particularly popular with local fishermen.

This is planlk on bulkhead kit, all parts are laser cut. The keel and frames are pre-cut. Fittings such as brass eyebolts, mast hoops, rings and deadeye strops, cast metal cleats, it coems with photo-etched brass hull gudgeons and chainplate. Includes rigging line, canvas sail material. There are 4 sheets of plans.
