There are several pinning tools out there that get unanimously bad reviews. Amati’s Nail Nailer is a newer one with a very tiny barrel so I took a chance on it – big mistake. You have to push pretty hard to get the pins through the wood, and then the barrel leaves dents in the planks. Even with the tiny barrel the pins go in at random angles. I gave up after a few tries and went back to needle nose pliers and a tack hammer.
