Mantua Shine Wooden Model Ship Kit # Art777

English cutter built in 1712 in the shipyards of Bermuda. the addition of the second tree was dictated by the need to increase the power sail for trading links with the East Indies.

This is a a plank on frame construction, there are building plans with general details, English instructions, lost wax brass castings walnut and limewood planking, wooden masts and spars, brass and walnut fittings, etched brass details, rigging cord and silk flags. All sheet ply sections are laser cut for accuracy.
