Mantua Sergal HMS Bounty Model # MA785
The name of the Bounty, frigate of the British Navy, is indissolubly tied to its captain's Bligh and to vicissitudes which caused the crew to mutiny. Christian Fletcher, the boatswain, took command of the ship and forced Bligh to embark on a life-boat with 18 still faithful men.
This is a double plank-on-bulkhead hull model using limewood for the first layer, and walnut for the outer layer. All major structural parts are laser-cut. Stern galleries, guns, anchors & fittings are in brass, sculptured figurehead in cast bronze and other fittings in copper, brass and hardwoods give this ship great detail for your finished model. There are four sheets of plans and good detailed instructions are included, sails are not included in this kit.
