- Very nice kit
- I have just finished building the Berbice and I am very pleased with the way it looks. Building the hull was much easier than building a wooden model. The only problem I had is the parts are very delicate and some of the smaller parts tend to separate layers. Also I found that if I pulled the rigging too tight it would deform some of the parts. Overall this is a good kit, just be careful with it. It only weighs a few ounces when completed. One other thing, I have other Shipyard models (lighthouses, the Alert) and the paint in all of them is dried up and unusable but everything else is good quality.
